i fell in love when i was sevnteen to a short haired girl that used to wear vinyl pants and tank-tops with black widows on them. we'd both been at the tail end of our gawky "goth" stages when we met and we grew together. if there was ever a golden age in my life it was when i was seventeen where i spent time with who i maintain to be one of two great loves of my life(thus far). and i love to watch her grow to this day. i've watched her change from a dog person to a cat person. from short hair to long hair. from silly and ridiculous hot-topic fatigues to very alluring dresses. from an introverted anti-social to a talkative socialite. she's become such a beautiful person inside and out (i terribly wish i could say i've grown just as much). the first time we tried to have sex she was still a virgin. i couldn't perform that night but for the most part (in my opinion) we've had a handful of memorable (if not wonderful)experiences since. when she had short hair we were in a very minor car accident together. when she had long hair we went scuba diving but it didn't last long on accounta my ears. we were together officially for four years. unofficially (while both of us were in other relationships) for the year following. death rattles. i realize now i never really "get over girlfriends" i simply occupy my time with different people. but when i see or hear about the past ones i tend to feel whatever it is i felt about them all over again. i don't know who she is now, her eyes have changed, and we never speak.
i just watched a really fun movie called SURVIVE STYLE 5+. and it had that guy that guy that played ichi the killer, sonny chiba, the guy who got his dick cut off by gogo in kill bill, and vinnie jones... i was surprised by it's soundtrack (that cake cover of "i will survive" is in it) and the cinematography felt very american TV but it was great. i especially like the story with that dude that played ichi the killer...UGH! this is gunna kill me..i'm gunna stop calling him that right now...be right back..imdb..you won't even notice...Tadanobu Asano!...yea. the story 'tween Tadanobu Asano and the girl was really quite splendid. it made me think of my last ex-girlfriend and i wish i'd shot that story and presented it to her as a love note. i'm gunna try and weasel my way into her busy schedule and show it to her because it's basically a story about how you try so hard to get rid of someone (because you don't think they're the right person) that by the time you just accept that they're important to you it becomes too late and they're gone. but the way they execute that is really creative. it's good. if you can pick it up and you liked that movie LAST LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE i suggest you check out SURVIVE STYLE 5+.
